Gastropods
DID YOU KNOW?
Slugs have four retractable tentacles—two are for seeing and smelling and the other two are for touching and tasting. Slugs are gastropods, which means “stomach foot”. The foot is the flat bottom of the slug that contracts and secretes its slime. This allows the slug to glide across the slime as its foot contracts. A slug’s slime is as unique as a human fingerprint.
