This Woodlouse Hunter spider was discovered under a pave stone on the patio and can typically be found under bricks, rocks and logs.

The large fanged spider feeds while underground on woodlice, such as pill bugs, and other invertebrates.

If you find a pill bug, then chances are a woodlouse hunter may be lurking nearby.

Thank you to the Bug Guide website for their help in the spiders identification.
